A region in Utah has been named as the best regional economy in America and other Utah cities placed in the top 10, reported KSL.

The rankings were released by the Milken Institute this week.

According to the study, Provo took the top spot away from San Francisco, which fell completely out of the top 10.

Salt Lake City was number four on the list, and Ogden moved up 13 spots from last year to come in at number nine for 2021.

If that doesn't seem impressive enough, those rankings were just in the "large cities" category.

Many more Utah cities also placed well in the "small cities" category. Logan and St. George placed in the top five.

The Milken Institute's website stated, "The top-performing metros have cohesive strategies allowing them to weather economic storms and leverage their assets more effectively."
