Gaston County police continue their search for the suspect responsible for a deadly shooting Monday night (February 22) that left two dead and another injured. A reward up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.

Officers responded to a scene on Woodleaf Drive near Gastonia around 7:30 p.m. Monday where they found 50-year-old Christopher Lee Brooks dead from a gunshot wound, WCNC reports. Two other victims, including 54-year-old Matthew Christopher Allison, were taken to a hospital in critical condition, but Allison later died from his injuries on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Gaston County Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Jordan Cameron Moses, of Dallas, North Carolina. The department introduced multiples charges against Moses, including two counts of first degree murder, one county of attempted first degree murder, and one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police consider Moses to be "armed and dangerous" and encourage the public not to approach or interact with him. Instead, they are urged to report sightings by calling 911. Police also ask that anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact Gaston County detectives at 704-866-3320 or call Crime Stoppers at 704-861-8000.
