Sometimes, you just need an epic dance break.

On Friday (February 26), the Georgia Tech Police Department shared a video of one of its officers initiating a dance battle with a random stranger walking the campus.

“CORE Officer Rodriguez recently found himself in a spontaneous dance battle, and we just had to share it with you. Make sure you take some time to let loose and dance it out this weekend!” The Georgia Tech Police Department wrote in a Facebook post sharing the video.

Rodriguez joined the crime prevention unit in September. The CORE division strives to combat crime on campus and engage with the community, according to WSB-TV.

Who won the impromptu dance battle?

Facebook followers were invited to weigh in, commenting with a donut emoji in favor of the Georgia Tech officer or with a dancing person emoji to vote for the “random cool stranger.”

Though many of the commenters dropped donut emojis in the comments as of Monday (March 1), one commenter used both and made a suggestion: “such a hard decision maybe a rematch??”

Who knows whether a rematch is in store… but either way, the crowd seemed to appreciate the spontaneous dance-off.
