A trip to the local bar ended in injury and arrest when one patron was attacked with a "large chain" by a man dressed in camouflage.

According to Metro Nashville police, a man was attacked at a bar on Smith Springs Road near Anderson Road in the Priest Lake area of Nashville on Monday night (March 1). Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a reported assault, and upon arriving found a man with an injury to his forehead, WKRN reports.

A warrant revealed that a camo-clad man was "causing a scene" at the front door of the bar, waving a knife and threatening to stab customers. Another patron at the bar was able to get the knife away from the man, but the suspect then reportedly picked up a "large chain" and began swinging it around, the news outlet reports. The chain struck the patron in the head, but he didn't let that deter him. He was able to get the suspect on the ground, but the man managed to escape before officers arrived.

Police later identified the suspect as 42-year-old Corey Dunham, who reportedly has a history of causing disturbances at the bar, according to the warrant. They located him walking nearby and took him into custody.

Dunham was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into Metro Jail on a $10,000 bond.
