WATCH: Massachusetts Singer-Songwriter Wins Grammy Award

A Massachusetts recording artist was among the Grammy winners on Sunday (March 14) night.
Stoughton native Lori McKenna was awarded for her songwriting contributions on The Highwomen's 'Crowded Table,' which won Best Country Song, along with Highwomen members Brandi Carlile and Natalie Hemby, who co-wrote the song.
McKenna shared a video of herself reacting to the award announcement during the Grammy Awards' live broadcast on Sunday night.
“All I can say is that I am honored, humbled and thankful," McKenna posted alongside the video. I had no thought in my mind that we would win. Surrounded by my kids and our dogs, I am stunned and totally in shock."

The Best Country Song award was announced prior to the Grammy's main show on Sunday afternoon.
McKenna, a mother of five, has won all three times she's been nominated for Best Country Song, which also included 2015's 'Girl Crush,' performed by Little Big Town and 2016's 'Humble and Kind," performed by Tim McGraw.
The Stoughton native has been nominated for 10 Grammy awards in total during her career.
'Crowded Table' was a single released on The Highwomen's self-titled debut album released in 2019. The group is composed of Carlile, Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires, all of whom have enjoyed notable solo success prior to their debut album.
