Maren Morris Has The Cutest Theme For Her Son's 1st Birthday Party

Maren Morris has such big plans for her baby boy’s first birthday!

The country singer-songwriter gave a recent interview with PEOPLE (the TV Show!) on Monday (March 15) to talk about her son Hayes Andrew turning 1 next Tuesday (March 23), and how she and her husband Ryan Hurd intend to make their birthday boy’s celebration special despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

"Obviously, we're going to have a very just a family-oriented party — we can't do the full invitation thing," “The Bones” singer said of planning her son’s first birthday party during a pandemic. "But we're gonna have a theme.”

Speaking on the theme of her son’s bash, Morris shared, "I think we all want to do Peter Rabbit, 'cause that's the book I read to him since he was a newborn.”

Elsewhere during the conversation, the Grammy-nominated musician also shared one of Hayes’ recent milestones has been “crawling.”

"He's so close to walking but I'm not in any rush on that, either, 'cause I'll be chasing him around even more," Morris gushed jokingly about her son, who was her "co-pilot for the Grammy-week festivities.”

"So that's such a cool first for me, as well, as a new mom,” she added. “He's just perfection."
