Deputies say a teenage boy allegedly stole his grandmother's vehicle and crashed it three times in Northwest Washington, according to KOMO.

On Saturday just after 6 p.m. in South Hill, a driver was stopped at a red light at 176th Street East and Meridian Avenue East. That's when a pickup truck rear-ended the stopped vehicle, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.

The pickup reportedly drove around scene, smashed into a second car and then crashed into a fence, deputies said. When authorities arrived, they said they found a 15-year-old boy in the driver's seat and a 13-year-old passenger. Deputies learned the driver took the vehicle from his grandmother without permission.

The sheriff's department said they forwarded the charges to the prosecutor's office for review. No one was hurt in the incident.

There have been quite a few stories about teens and kids on the road. Earlier this month, a driver reportedly crashed a stolen vehicle into a parked car in Kennewick, Washington. In Louisiana, an 11-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly taking a school bus on a joyride around Baton Rouge.
