These Are The 20 Safest Cities In Colorado

Safewise recently released its seventh annual Safest Cities report and according to their findings, Colorado residents worry less about their safety in comparison to the rest of the country.
"And 54% of Coloradans said they feel safe and at home in The Centennial State. Package theft is the biggest concern in Colorado, and it makes sense considering 24% of residents have experienced it in the last year," reads the report.
However, Coloradans are reportedly less concerned about safety in all other categories than the rest of the nation including violent crime, property crime, and gun violence.
The report also took a closer look at individual cities in Colorado and found the top 20 safest cities in Colorado:
- Frederick
- Milliken
- Severance
- Lamar
- Firestone
- Eaton
- Cherry Hills Village
- Castle Rock
- Erie
- Dacono
- Louisville
- Manitou Springs
- Carbondale
- Estes Park
- Parker
- Woodland Park
- Avon
- Johnstown
- Fruita
- Littleton
These 20 cities reported under five violence crimes. According to Safewise, Frederick, which was ranked as the safest city in the state, reported 0 violent crimes for the entire year.
Cities in the metro Denver area came in a bit further down the list with Colorado Springs at No. 51, Aurora at No. 52, and Denver at No. 56.
