Dozens of people surprised people shopping in Sacramento's Arden Fair Mall over the weekend, reports KCRA3.
A video sent to the news station showed about 50 people riding their bikes through the middle of the mall on Saturday, April 24.
KCRA3 reports the group of cyclists entered the mall near the JCPenney.
In the video, masked shoppers can be seen pushed up against storefronts as the large group of cyclists slowly ride through the middle of the walkway in the mall.
A mall spokesperson told KCRA3 that security was alerted of the group and asked them to leave the mall.
Large groups of cyclists have caused concern in the area before.
Back in January, a group of 300 cyclists took over the roadways in Modesto.
Police started getting 911 calls from frustrated and concerned residents claiming that bicyclists were taking up all of the lanes, not stopping at stop signs, and blocking cars from moving around them.
The group rides eventually ended in Modesto police arresting five people and impounding 19 bikes.
