Who's ready for the Yeezy Gap line?
According to a recent report from Business of Fashion, fans won't have to wait much longer for the arrival of Kanye West's first line with Gap as it “is on track” to launch by the end of this June.
Further details about the Yeezy Gap line's release are expected to be announced on Gap Inc.'s Q1 2021 earnings call on Thursday (May 27).
Last June, Ye and Gap announced their partnership — a 10-year deal that will feature a new line of apparel for men, women and kids called YEEZY Gap. London-based designer Mowalola was also announced as the Design Director of the brand with Kanye as the creative director.

At the time, Ye shared the big news on Twitter using the hashtag #WestDayEver. He additionally posted what appeared to be a sneak peek of the coming line.
The deal marked a full-circle moment for Ye, who worked in a Gap store as a teen growing up in Chicago and previously proclaimed — following his Adidas Originals Collection in 2015 — he'd "like to be the Steve Jobs of Gap.”
“We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,” Mark Breitbard, Global Head of Gap Brand, said in a statement last year.
