Scary Video: Man Chained To Top Of SUV Takes Ride On Detroit Freeway

You expect to witness some interesting incidents while driving, but seeing a man chained to the top of an SUV while it cruises down the freeway has to be an instance some Detroit drivers never thought they would see.

Well, the incident was caught on video for the rest of the world to see too. In an Instagram video posted by MetroDetroitNews, you can see a man wearing black shorts and a dark jacket while standing up on top of a moving SUV. At one point, the man throws his hands up into the air as if he was riding a rollercoaster and at other parts of the video, he is dodging the overpasses as the car goes under them.

At least the driver of the SUV was safe enough to use his blinker as he merged lanes on the freeway.

The caption of the video posted to Instagram reads:

"CAUGHT ON CAMERA: (*News & Information Release Only) Police are searching for a man seen chained to a vehicle while on the Lodge freeway in Detroit. A Detroit police officer spotted him but lost him when he hit the Lodge Freeway. The man was later caught on camera by an MDN follower. It appears he chained himself to the top of the car while on the Lodge Freeway."
