Porch pirates have been a problem for Amazon customers nationwide, but an incident in Bristol, Connecticut involved a surprising suspect.
Kristin Levine shared a surveillance video showing a bear in her driveway walking away with her Amazon package in a Facebook post on Monday (August 23).
"Yea so if anyone sees an Amazon package in the Chippens Hill area with my name on it…feel free to bring it back?" Levine wrote in the post.
"This guy just took my package! You think @amazon gives replacements for bear thieves?!?" Levine tagged in another post, along with several local news outlets' social media accounts.
Levine shared more details of her story with NBC Connecticut.
“Amazon had dropped off the packages maybe five minutes before and I got the alert on my security camera and then I got a second alert five minutes later and I was like taken aback because I wasn’t expecting anyone else in my driveway," Levine said.

Levine later revealed that she found the missing package in her neighbor's yard shortly after the incident, which she said happened to be a package of toilet paper.
“It was hysterical like I said, I knew nothing in there was going to be irreplaceable so it was a fun afternoon for sure," Levine said.
