King Calaway Releases 4-Track EP That 'Defines A New Journey For Us'

Rising country quintet King Calaway just released their new EP Midnight, and it’s packed with “expert vocals, stacked harmonies, and soul-oriented production.”
The four-track collection of “smooth modern country” music includes the “feel-good anthem” called “Homegrown,” plus a collaboration titled “Good Time To Me,” with another up-and-comer, “Things A Man Oughta Know” singer Lainey Wilson. Midnight follows King Calaway’s debut album Rivers, which released in October 2019. The bandmates — Caleb Miller, Chris Deaton, Simon Dumas, Chad Michael Jervis, and Austin Luther — continued songwriting and “carefully crafting a fresh modern country sound” during the pandemic, according to a press release announcing the new EP.
"We’ve been hard at work writing and recording what we feel defines a new journey for us,” the band said in a statement. “We simply could not be more thrilled to arrive at this moment and share the first glimpse!”
Midnight officially released on Friday (August 27). Check out the track list here:
