Post Malone understands how important it is to give back to the community and his latest announcement as part of his partnership with Jägermeister is proof of that.
The chart-topper's new short film in conjunction with the brand debuted on Monday (August 30) and it sees the rapper pay tribute to the businesses and communities impacted by COVID-19. Directed by Zachary Heinzerling, the one-minute film, which is titled Night Life and features his track, "I'm Gonna Be," is a part of their global #SAVETHENIGHT campaign. "We wanted to help raise awareness and send support to the whole nightlife community & anyone who’s been affected during these tough times," the star said in a statement. "All the artists, the creatives, the staff - this is for you."
In addition to the film, limited-edition #SAVETHENIGHT bottles will be released in select stores worldwide, beginning in September, with a portion of proceeds from the American sales benefiting NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) and a portion of proceeds from global sales going directly back to artists via Jägermeister’s Meister Fund.
Chris Peddy, the Chief Marketing Officer Mast-Jägermeister US, spoke about the announcement, saying, "We are excited to collaborate with Post Malone to uplift the nightlife communities near to his heart, and to launch a product that directly benefits those communities. Every purchase of the #SAVETHENIGHT Limited Edition bottle is an active investment in nightlife and brings independent venues one step closer to switching the lights on again."
In efforts of pushing his partnership, it was also announced that Jägermeister will serve as a sponsor for the rapper's upcoming Posty Fest, which will take place outside of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on October 30-31. Click here for more details!
