Kenny Rogers' life and career will be honored with an upcoming CBS special called Kenny Rogers: All In for the Gambler.

The TV broadcast, which is scheduled to air September 23 at 9 PM ET on the network and Paramount+, will span an hour and see superstars perform the late icon's hits. Among the acts set to appear on the special include Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Idina Menzel, Lady A, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town and Reba McEntire. Parton, in particularly, will have a monumental part of the special, sharing memories and anecdotes of her longtime friend and performing a string of songs that culminate with an emotional finale featuring Rogers himself.

"Kenny Rogers’ enormous impact on country music was matched only by the love all the artists and fans showed Kenny on this incredible night," executive producers Keith Wortman and Ken Levitan said in a statement. “We are so thrilled to share this special with his friends, family and fans all around the world, as he will remain forever in our hearts."

Kenny Rogers: All In for the Gambler was filmed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville in 2017. The special will include hits like "The Gambler," "Lady," "She Believes in Me," "Through the Years," "Lucille" and "We've Got Tonight." As you know, Rodgers passed away peacefully at his home from natural causes in 2020. He was surrounded by his family and died at 81.
