Brian Pillman's Daughter Gives Birth After AEW Promo Spat With MJF

Brittany Pillman, the daughter of late wrestling legend, 'The Loose Cannon' Brian Pillman, and the sister of current All Elite Wrestling star Brian Pillman Jr., gave birth to a child hours after being involved in an on-screen spat with Maxwell Jacob Friedman during AEW Dynamite on Wednesday (September 8) night.

Brian Jr. confirmed his sister "just had her baby" on Friday (September 10), hours after tweeting that "the encounter between my pregnant sister and Maxwell Jacob Friedman sent my sister into contractions" shortly after the Dynamite incident.

Pillman also joked that his newborn nephew, whose name is Asher William Evans, is "already working on a right jab to rearrange the jaw of Maxwell Jacob Friedman."

Dynamite aired live from Cincinnati -- the hometown of the Pillman family -- where Brittany and her aunt, Linda Pillman, sat ringside during the event.

Friedman, one of AEW's biggest villain characters, cut a promo bashing the Cincinnati crowd before noticing the Pillman family ringside and spewing out numerous offensive insults at Brittany, her aunt and her late father.

Brian Jr. interrupted Friedman's verbal assault to defend his family and his hometown, which led to a scuffle involving the two men, MJF's ally Wardlow, and Pillman's 'Varsity Blondes' tag-team partner Griff Garrison.

The Pillmans were initially acknowledged at ringside during CM Punk's promo earlier in the show as the former WWE Champion praised "Aunt Linda" as "legitimately an angel" for taking significant measures to assist in raising the children after Brian Sr.'s death, as chronicled in the Vice docuseries Dark Side of the Ring.

Brian Sr., a former NFL linebacker and Division I All-American during his collegiate career, initially broke into professional wrestling with Stampede Wrestling, training under Hart Family patriarch and Stampede promoter Stu Hart in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, before successful runs in World Championship Wrestling and National Wrestling Alliance.

During his WCW run, 'Flyin' Brian' teamed with then-'Stunning' Steve Austin -- who later gained global notoriety as 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin -- as part of the 'Hollywood Blondes.'

During the mid-1990s, Pillman adopted the 'Loose Cannon' moniker, blurring the lines of kayfabe in professional wrestling and providing a precursor to the then-WWF's (WWE) 'Attitude Era' during his run with the company, as well as sporadic appearances in ECW and his final run with WCW, until his death in 1997 at the age of 35.
