YUNGBLUD went undercover on Reddit, Twitter, TikTok, Wikipedia, Youtube, and Quora answering fan questions in a new episode of GQ's Actually Me series. Starting off talking about having a cup of tea, YUNGBLUD goes on to joke about how he got his start on the Disney channel in the United Kingdom and answered fan questions on each platform.

Other fans asked what hair dye YUNGBLUD uses (it depends on what he can get his hands on), what band name he, Travis Barker, and Machine Gun Kelly would have (YUNGBLUD suggested the name Spank, but said the three of them had already decided on a band name and he forgot what it had been). The singer also reminisced on his and Halsey's first-aid volunteer work from the George Floyd protests last summer.

The Actually Me episode also revealed that YUNGBLUD would want to be stuck on a desert island with Liam Gallagher, prefers the Second Divison over Premier League football (soccer), and confirmed he once "mooned" his math teacher. YUNGBLUD also revealed the meaning behind his single, "Mars," which he says is currently his favorite song due to what it personally means to him.

"Since the beginning of my career, all I wanted to do was to build a community where people could be themselves," YUNGBLUD said. "That's it. I didn't really give a f*** about how well my songs did, all I cared about was making sure we had a culture that could kind of exist happily and peacefully, making people feel like they could be who they are. And I was in Maryland, and a young trans girl came up to me. And she said to me that her parents couldn't understand that she wasn't always and had like, had been, a girl. She said that all she could think about was taking her parents to a YUNGBLUD show. Not to see me, not for any other reason than she wanted them to see the community and the culture that we had because it would make them realize that she wasn't some freak or doing it for attention. She was this person, and she was valid, and she was real, she was heard. She saved up her money, she got good grades, and her parents came and after the gig they saw this culture, this community. All these kids like her. They accepted her as their baby girl."
