A 10-year-old Houston girl is safe after barely escaping a possible kidnapping by carjackers.
The entire incident was caught on a surveillance camera outside the convenience store in the 8700 block of Beechnut where the crime happened on September 5 at 10:30 p.m.
A man and woman went inside the store, but left their black SUV running because their daughter remained in the backseat of the vehicle.
Moments later a white GMC Yukon pulled into the parking space next to the family's vehicle. Two men got out and one of them opened the unlocked door the the family's SUV.
After climbing into the driver's seat and noticing the girl in the vehicle, the man "ordered her to get out or he would hurt her," KHOU reported.
