Wisconsin Police Looking For Stolen Sculpture Of Humpty Dumpty On A Toilet

Wisconsin police are looking for two suspects in connection to a stolen Humpty Dumpty statue.

According to an incident report from the Madison Police Department, on Saturday (September 25), a sculpture named "Dumpty Humpty" was stolen at the Art Fair on the Square in Madison. The missing sculpture is a bronze statue of Humpty Dumpty sitting on a toilet. The sculpture belonged to an out-of-town vendor and cost roughly $1,400.

The vendor told authorities that two males were hanging around her stand early in the morning as she set up for the event. She said she left the stand for some time and when she returned, the two men were gone as well as the statue.

Officers were able to get a hold of security footage of the two male suspects leaving with "Dumpty Humpty" in hand.

Authorities believe one of the suspects is a 21-year-old student who lives downtown.

The Madison Police Department asks that anyone with information regarding the suspects or "Dumpty Humpty's" whereabouts to please come forward.
