Schools around the country have been dealing with students damaging property as part of a "devious licks" challenge on TikTok, but high school students in central Texas went too far this time.

Like other public schools, Round Rock Independent School District said it recently had to replace around 100 soap and paper towel dispensers in its high school bathrooms because they were destroyed as part of the viral challenge.

While annoying, that's not even the worst that has been done at a Round Rock secondary school.

At one round rock high school, students set off stink bombs in the bathrooms, which led to two school-wide evacuations. The stunt also cost the district $10,000 for mandatory gas line testing, Round Rock ISD said in a news release.

District officials are now concerned about a new challenge that encourages students to slap a staff member and is warning students about possible consequences.

"For example, slapping a school district staff member, whether in the face or on any part of their body, is a criminal offense and considered an assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony," the district said.

Other schools across the country are making similar warnings, but there are no viral videos showing students slapping teachers, according to Know Your Meme.
