Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker is 72 years old but he still knows how to throw it down.
The Astros clinched the AL West title with a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday, September 30. Baker also made history on Thursday by becoming the only manager in baseball history to win division titles with five different teams, according to the Houston Chronicle.
“That was the hardest but greatest year ever for me,” he told his team before celebrating. "Thank you, guys. I know I ain’t been in here much after the game with y’all celebrating but tonight, man, is a special, special night. I just want to thank God for you guys and thank God for everything that's happened. I love you guys, man.”
The team had plenty of beer and champagne in the clubhouse to celebrate their win and Baker's milestone. Instead of taking a swig out of a bottle or cup, Baker chugged his champagne out of a shoe.

Let's hope it was a new shoe because that looked unpleasant.
Taking a celebratory drink out of a shoe is actually known as a "shoey." The history of the shoey is murky, but it went mainstream in 2015 when Australian race car drivers started doing it from the winners podium, according to the New York Times.
While the alcohol does kill off some of the leftover foot germs, ABC News in Australia does warn that a shoey can make you spewy.
