We all have our strengths and weaknesses, and the same goes for each of the states. Some states excel in areas that other states struggle in.

It's Rosy determined what each state is worst at. The website states, "These categories run the gamut, from worst place to enjoy happy hour to worst place to be a working mom. These issues often stem from the culture, demographic, and values of the state, meaning the state's "worst in" category offers it a chance to reflect onwhat it needs to work on."

According to the website, California is the worst at clean air. The website explains:

"California is ranked as one of the most polluted states in the U.S., which is surprising when you consider the beautiful coastlines and majestic national parks. But thanks to major metropolitan cities like Los Angeles, Fresno, and Sacramento, the state has an issue with its air quality. It's repeatedly ranked as the state with the most air pollution, but that's not only because of car emissions. It's also because of wildfires. According to Sacramento Bee 2020, 'The researchers say climate change is responsible for more intense wildfires that produce dangerous smoke, contributing to poor air quality across western communities.'"
