This Legendary British Rock Band Is Coming To Sacramento

The Who has announced a new 2022 North American tour and they're stopping in Sacramento. 'The Who Hits Back!' Tour will kick-off on April 22 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the Hard Rock Live.

For fans in the area, the legendary rock band will be in Sacramento on October 26 when they take the stage at the Golden 1 Center.

"Our North American trek will be another rock n’ roll knockout, kicking off 22 April and running through to May 29 The fall leg starts October 2, 2022 and ends November 5," the band wrote in an announcement post on Twitter.

According to CBS13, this is the band's first tour since their 2019 'Moving On!' tour, and original members Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey will be playing at all of the dates.

“Pete and I said we’d be back, but we didn’t think we’d have to wait for two years for the privilege,” Daltrey said in a statement.

Tickets go on sale to the public starting Friday, February 11, at 10:00 A.M. at LiveNation.com.

According to Setlist.fm, the last time The Who made a stop in the Sacramento area was in August of 2000.
