Warm weather on the horizon signals waterpark season for midwesterners who have long awaited the summer, and Illinois is ready for it. Raging Waves, Illinois’ largest waterpark located in Yorkville, has announced its opening day as May 28, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
In addition to the announcement, the park has a slew of Easter weekend promotional packages available for visitors.
According to NBC5, park visitors can get general admission tickets for almost half of the price if they buy early. The sale brings tickets from $44 to $24 for a limited time. The tickets can be used any day that the park is open and do not expire until September 5.
Raging Waves features 32 different waterslides on 58 acres of land. Attractions include a lazy river, wave pool, beach and a variety of dining options ranging from a classic burger and fries to ice-cream stands for visitors to enjoy. For guests planning an event at the park with a large party that prefer a private setting, cabanas can be purchased or reserved ahead of the visit.
Locals planning to visit the park multiple times a year can purchase season passes through the website and are kept up to date on exclusive promotions through the pass holders portal.
