Texas Is Home To Two Of The 30 Best French Restaurants In America

It's hard to not love the decadent flavors of French cuisine... and no, I'm not referring to French fries and French toast.

LoveFOOD compiled a list of the 30 best French restaurants in America. The website states, "Over time, the culture and heritage of the French diaspora has fused with the USA’s food scene to create some wonderful restaurants that celebrate the decadent flavors and world-renowned hospitality of France, as well as giving proud nods to Creole and Cajun influences."

According to the website, two Texas restaurants landed on the list. Étoile Cuisine et Bar in Houston along with The French Room in Dallas are among America's best French restaurants, according to LoveFOOD. The website explains that Étoile Cuisine et Bar prides themselves on presenting fresh, unpretentious interpretations of French food. The website states:

"One happy Yelp user says Étoile 'sets the standard for service and delicious food', with another calling it 'consistently excellent and excellently consistent.'"

The website says that The French Room "promises guests an 'awe-inspiring exploration of culinary and service excellence.'" LoveFOOD says:

"Open exclusively for “unique and delicious” afternoon high tea, the journey begins with a collection of savories, ranging from a finger sandwich of cucumber cress and herby soft cheese to decadent bites like truffled egg croissants and salmon eclairs."
