While nobody took home the historic $1.2 billion Powerball jackpot on Wednesday (November 2), one lucky Texan is rolling in a little bit of dough.
A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Round Rock, the Texas Lottery announced. The non-Quick Pick ticket was purchased at JaJa Accessories at 900 Round Rock Avenue. It matched all five white ball numbers (2-11-22-35-60), but not the red Powerball number (23). The claimant has 180 days from the draw date to claim the lottery prize.
Twenty-one Powerball tickets worth $50,000 were also sold on Wednesday, seven of whom Power Played, earning them $100,000. In total, 552,270 Texas residents won at least $4 in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
Now, the Powerball jackpot will roll, becoming one of the largest jackpots in U.S. lottery history. The estimated annuitized jackpot for Friday's drawing is $1.5 billion, with an estimated cash value of $745.9 million.
