More details about the unexpected death of Aaron Carter have been revealed. According to TMZ, Carter's housekeeper was heard screaming on a 911 call after discovering his body in the tub. By the time paramedics arrived on the scene, Carter was already dead. Law enforcement told TMZ that they will be doing a deep dive into his past drug use.

Last month, Carter revealed that he planned to sell his California home just days before his body was discovered in the bathtub on Saturday morning (November 5th), according to the New York Post.

"Selling my 2nd home," Carter wrote on Twitter on Saturday, October 29th. "Real estate has been super good to me. Ready for a new chapter in my 3rd home which I plan on staying to make a beautiful life for my family.” He continued, "This year has been super tough but I’ve learned so much. Thanks for the support everyone."

Carter and his on-and-off again partner Melanie Martin welcomed their first child in November 2021, a boy named Prince Lyric Carter, according to the Post.

Law enforcement officials reportedly confirmed to TMZ that they received a 911 call around 11 a.m. on Saturday morning (November 5), and homicide detectives arrived at Carter's California home, though no evidence of foul play was found. TMZ noted that homicide detectives investigate death scenes of this nature as standard operating procedure.

A cause of death has yet to be released to the public. Page Six reported that the singer-turned-rapper had been suspected of driving under the influence just three days before he was found dead. Carter was cleared once he passed field sobriety tests from officers. Carter had been previously arrested in 2017 for a DUI.
