This Texas City Has The Worst Potholes In The State

There's nothing more terrifying than driving down the road and suddenly running into a massive pothole. Some are so bad that they make your whole vehicle sound like it's falling apart! According to AAA, drivers in the United States spend nearly $3 billion per year fixing damage caused by potholes.

QuoteWizard determined which cities have the worst potholes across the US. The website states, "QuoteWizard analyzed search data for pothole-related complaints and repairs for each state over the last year. The search index average is rounded and represents the number of queries in a particular state/location compared to other states."

According to the study, McAllen is the worst city for potholes in Texas. The city is ranked 38th overall and has a search index average of five.

  4. Philadelphia, PA
  5. Seattle, WA
