Kevin Spacey is facing more legal trouble in the United Kingdom. The actor was charged with three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault, and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.

The latest charges come from one accuser who claims he was assaulted by Spacey from 2001 to 2004.

He is scheduled to appear in Westminster Magistrates' Court in London on December 16 to enter a plea.

"The [Crown Prosecution Service] has authorized additional criminal charges against Kevin Spacey, 63, for a number of sexual assaults against one man between 2001 and 2004," Rosemary Ainslie, head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said, according to Variety. "The CPS has also authorized one charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. The authority to charge follows a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police in its investigation."

Spacey is also facing a trial in June 2023 on five counts of sexual assault related to allegations by three men that he abused them when he lived in London.

Spacey has also faced similar allegations in the United States but was found not liable for battery against actor Anthony Rapp.
