This Is Nashville's Top Google Search For 2022

To wrap up the end of 2022, Google released its results of the top trending searches of the past year for major cities across the country, including Nashville. While some results may not be shocking, others offer an interesting look at what people around the Nashville area were looking for in 2022.

What should come as no surprise is the top search for music genre — country, of course — given Music City's fame for being the home of country music. The top trending animal, however, is much more unique with the great eared nightjar, a "dragon-like" bird found in Asia, earning the top spot. Additionally, Nashville's top recipe for the past year was "marry me chicken," a dish so good that folks say it will get your significant other ready to pop the question.
