Surrounded by rising flames, Nate Smith delivered a soulful performance of “World On Fire,” one of the fan-favorite anthems he unleashed on his highly-anticipated debut album earlier this year. Smith premiered the music video on Tuesday evening (July 11).
“World On Fire” is one of 20 tracks to appear on Smith’s self-titled debut album (and one of 26 tracks on the deluxe edition, which released on the same day). The project was a longtime coming for Smith’s fans after the country hitmaker announced in January that he would push back the album’s original release date, dropping the highly-anticipated collection closer to his Stagecoach performance and the kickoff of Thomas Rhett’s headlining tour (which also includes Cole Swindell in the lineup). Smith performed an epic album release event on a rooftop on Lower Broadway in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, days after finally sharing his debut full-length album with fans.
“You set my world on fire/ Yeah, it’s all long gone/ I’m watching flames get higher/ And I can’t move on/ I just gotta let it burn, burn, burn on down/ Girl without you it don’t turn, turn, turn around/ You set my world on fire/ You set my world on fire”
“World On Fire” quickly became a fan-favorite track on Smith’s self-titled album and the deluxe edition, along with his smash-hit anthem “Whiskey On You,” “Wreckage,””Better Boy,” “I Found You,” “Sleeve” and other highlights.
