Caroline Jones surprised fans when she revealed long-awaited details about her third full-length studio album on Friday (August 25). Homesite is set to make its debut this fall, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist announced.

“This album is about building,” Jones, who shared a sweet pregnancy reveal earlier this summer, said on Friday. “Building my character by practicing grit and resilience, building a career that I am proud of, and now building a family of my own. Stake in the ground, this is my Homesite.”

Jones also debuted her latest track, “Serendipity,” from the upcoming record to kick off the weekend. It marks her latest release since her collaboration featuring Zac Brown Band — of which she officially became the first female member when she joined in late 2022 — last month. Before that, she released her 5-track EP, Superpower, which included the title track (described as her “most raw” and “honest” songwriting), “Lawless,” the “sassy” “Normal Person,” a stunning cover of Cry Cry Cry’s “By Way of Sorrow” with Vince Gill, and “Keep It Safe” featuring Alyssa Bonagura. The EP’s release came at the heels of Jones’ first-ever headlining show in Nashville, Tennessee, hosted at the historic EXIT/IN venue.

“I would say it's a pretty accurate snapshot of the record in terms of the sonic diversity,” Jones previously told iHeartCountry about her Superpower EP, before announcing Homesite details. She added later that working on the project with new collaborators offered a change for her to be “pushed as a musician,” and ignited a sense of pride in what Jones said is “my best work ever.”

Jones is in the midst of dozens of performance dates, including headlining shows of her own and Zac Brown Band’s “From The Fire Tour,” which spans through early November. The “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable)” artist is slated to play everywhere from intimate local venues to massive arenas and amphitheaters throughout the year.

“I take a lot of pride in whatever crowd I’m in front of and whatever performance that I’m doing, giving it 100% and bringing my A game,” Jones told iHeartCountry earlier this summer. “It really doesn’t matter to me how many people are in the crowd, or if it’s my own show, in my own name or it’s supporting Zac Brown Band and bring in service to that music. I bring the same passion and commitment to all of it. I love it all, and it matters a lot to me.”

Homesite is set to release on October 20. Listen to “Serendipity” here:
