Keith Urban proved once again that he is a man of the people, this time getting up close and personal with fans at a recent festival in what he called a "chaotic" walk through the crowd.
On Wednesday (September 6), the "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer shared a video to his Instagram of his time performing at the 2023 YQM Country Fest in Canada at the end of August, and, as he wrote in the caption, "this sooooo did not go as planned 🤣."
In the clip, Urban explains to the crowd that he usually walks out to a specific area of the stage when he performs, walking through the countless fans in the crowd to get to the stage. However, when he attempted to do it this time, he ran into a problem: That area of the stage was not there.
"We got halfway through the crowd and there was this like gridlock. And then I said to my crew, 'where's my little stage?' And they go, 'we don't have one!'" he said, before joking with the crowd, "I figured I'd just hang out with you guys for a minute."
The video then jumped into the moments Urban walked amongst fans while playing guitar as the rain poured down, huge grin on his face. After he got back to the main stage, he excitedly exclaimed, "Holy s--- that went crazy in all the right ways" as he lifted his guitar into the air.
