Chase Rice praised Zach Bryan as he played his own acoustic rendition of one of the “Something in the Orange” star’s latest songs included on his 16-track, self-titled album that released in August. Rice posted his rendition of “Oklahoman Son” on TikTok as he covered — and applauded — Bryan’s music.

“It's camo season, footballs on the tv, got the fire goin, leaves are fallin' and it's cool air in Nashville,” Rice wrote in his caption. “My voice is shot from a year of touring. I'm completely exhausted. And no chance I'm playing it correct, but this song just feels right. ‘Nightcrawler blood on your casting thumb’, who the hell thinks of lines like that?? Great sh*t [Zach Bryan].”

“You can't hide where you're from/ With nightcrawler blood on your casting thumb/ You can fight and fiend and sell your guns/ But you'll always be the Oklahoman son/ You'll always been the Oklahoman son

Bryan released his latest album in August, and has since revealed stops on his 2024 headlining tour. The country singer-songwriter’s latest project also includes collaborations with The War and Treaty, Sierra Ferrell, The Lumineers and Kacey Musgraves, among other highlights.
