With so many eateries and establishments competing for people's attention and money, there are experts out there curating lists to help you decide which ones are worth the visit. Some of these acclaimed spots can even be closer than you think.

Taste Atlas put together a list of the 150 "most legendary" restaurants across the world. The website states, "Our list celebrates these enduring icons of gastronomy, the restaurants that prioritize substance over show, serving honest, no-nonsense food that is simply delectable."

A famous South Florida restaurant landed on the list, and that honor goes to Joe's Stone Crab! Here's why it's getting the spotlight:

"Joe's Stone Crab holds an essential place in the culinary heart of Miami Beach, thanks to its century-old history and commitment to fresh, locally-sourced seafood. The flagship dish is the stone crab claws, sourced sustainably from the nearby Atlantic waters and served chilled with a side of their signature mustard sauce. This combination of historical significance, dedication to sustainable sourcing, and a dish that has captivated palates for generations, solidifies Joe's Stone Crab as a beloved culinary landmark."

You can find this restaurant at 11 Washington Ave. in Miami Beach.
