Ne-Yo becomes the latest artist to step up to the mic for the "Llama Llama Red Pajama" challenge.

On Thursday, October 24, the Grammy award-winning singer stopped by The Cruz Show on Real 92.3 for a thorough conversation about his new song "Link Up" and everything else going on in his life and career. While he was there, Ne-Yo also took on the "Llama Llama Red Pajama" challenge. Once the instrumental for his Hitmaka-produced single began, the 44-year-old crooned each word of the popular children's book. The challenge was inspired by host J Cruz's young son's favorite book.

Ne-Yo joins the lengthy list of A-list artists who've taken part in the challenge including GloRilla, NLE Choppa, LL COOL J, Kali Uchis and more. Every artist has flipped the challenge and done it in their own way like That Mexican OT, who did a special chopped-n-screwed edition, and DJ Drama, who busted out a Gangsta Grillz version.

Meanwhile, Ne-Yo is currently in album mode following the end of his recent The Champagne and Roses Tour. During the interview, he reflected on his 20-year career and being grateful to be able to still sell out shows. He also spoke about the making of his new single "Link Up" with Hitmaka alongside Eric Bellinger in Miami. Ne-Yo and Hitmaka have been locked in the studio working on several new songs for his upcoming album.
