Former President Donald Trump is projected to win the New Hampshire Republican Primary, easily defeating former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
Trump is expected to grab a lion's share of the 22 delegates. New Hampshire awards delegates proportionally to candidates with at least 10% of the vote.
As of 8:30 p.m. ET, Trump had secured 11 delegates with over 54% of the vote, while Haley earned eight delegates, with 44% of the vote.
It is the second big win for Trump, following his historic performance in the Iowa caucuses last week. Former Florida Governor Ron DeSantis dropped out of the race after finishing second to Trump in Iowa.
Haley rebuked calls to suspend her campaign and vowed to keep fighting until the February 24th primary in her home state of South Carolina.
"I have news for all of them: New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not last in the nation," Haley told her supporters.
In the Democratic primary, President Joe Biden won despite not being on the ballot due to a fight between New Hampshire and the Democratic National Committee over the primary election date.
