Gabby Barrett To Reveal Album Sneak Peeks With Baby Due 'Any Second Now'

Gabby Barrett shared how some fans can get a sneak peek of her soon-to-debut album in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Barrett’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, Chapter & Verse, is set to release on Friday (February 2).

The country songstress noted, however, that she would not be in attendance “because my baby will be here any second now.” Barrett, 23, and her husband, Cade Foehner, 28, are preparing to welcome Baby No. 3. The American Idol alums tied the knot in 2019. They welcomed their firstborn child, daughter Baylah May, in January 2021, and they welcomed son Augustine Boone in October 2022. Barrett previously confirmed Baby No. 3 is a girl, due in February.

Barrett’s “Chapter & Verse Experience” will unveil “a backstage look into Gabby’s life on the road and into her new album,” per the details she posted on Instagram. The experience is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday (February 1) and Friday (February 2). It’s set for Fifth + Broadway, located on the historic Lower Broadway in Downtown Nashville. On Friday, the immersive “Chapter & Verse Experience” will also include an album listening event from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“IT’S ALBUM RELEASE WEEK!!! 🥳 If you’re in Nashville on Thursday + Friday, you can stop by the Chapter & Verse Experience downtown at [Fifth + Broadway]!!” Barrett wrote in her caption on Instagram when she posted details on Tuesday evening (January 30). “We have so many fun things to show y’all, giving an exclusive peek behind the curtain of the album and my life the past few years. I won’t be able to be there in person because my baby will be here any second now, BUT ALBUM LISTENING EVENT on Friday 2/2 from 3pm - 4pm. Tag me in your pictures and videos so I can share them and feel like I’m right there with y’all 🤍 ENJOY!”

Chapter & Verse is Barrett’s long-awaited sophomore album, following her powerful debut record, Goldmine, in 2020. Barrett extended that project with a deluxe edition in 2021, totaling 17 tracks. That chapter of Barrett’s career includes smash-hits “I Hope” (including a version featuring Charlie Puth), “Footprints On The Moon,” “The Good Ones,” “Pick Me Up” and more. Chapter & Verse includes some of the Pennsylvania-born singer-songwriter’s most “autobiographical” work.
