When search for a place to settle down and call home, many factors may play into one's decision, such as safety and criminal activity, proximity to incredible restaurants and exciting nightlife, and access to quality health care or education. However, one of the biggest concerns when it comes to finding a home is the price. While there are plenty of more affordable places to live around the state, if you're looking for something a bit more extravagant, it will come with a heftier price tag.

According to a list compiled by Family Handyman, the most expensive neighborhood in all of Ohio is Terrace Park and the 45174 zip code. With a population around 2,300, this small suburb of Cincinnati has a median home value of nearly half a million dollars.

Here's what the site had to say about the most expensive zip code in the state:

"This small village on the East Side of Cincinnati offers a small school, church and post office. Terrace Park has stunning homes and a great sense of community. The median home value is $483,000."
