6ix9ine is facing a lot more legal issues in the U.S. amid his recent troubles in the Dominican Republic.

According to a report TMZ published on Wednesday, April 17, IRS agents and the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office paid a visit to the controversial rapper's home to confiscate numerous items. The New York native, born Daniel Hernandez, was not home when the agents arrived at his property. The outlet reports that police officers assisted the agents as they seized a couple of cars from his garage as well as several other items from inside the home.

"We are assessing the situation and will issue a statement at the appropriate time," 6ix9ine's attorney Lance Lazzaro told TMZ.

Police have not confirmed what exactly was taken from the home. However, it's clear that several cars were seized. Photos of the raid show an IRS sticker that was placed on one of the cars. In videos that were shared to social media, the towing company who assisted the authorities, Priority Towing, provided an up-close look at two vehicles in question. The driver's side window of one of the cars appears to have two bullet holes. So far, law enforcement has not confirmed that 6ix9ine was involved in a shooting.

As of this report, it's not clear why the IRS raided 6ix9ine's home. The IRS' visit came a few months after the troubled artist was conditionally released from custody in the Dominican Republic over domestic violence charges. It was the second time 6ix9ine was arrested on the island following his previous assault case involving an alleged assault of a music producer.
