Watch Cody Johnson Serenade Crowd With Intimate, Soul-Stirring Performance

Cody Johnson took the stage (and the audience's breath away) at the 59th annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards in Frisco, Texas on Thursday (May 16) with an intimate performance of 2023 hit single, "Dirt Cheap."

The lights were low and the stage was set as the country music king delivered a touching performance of the Leather track in his home state. The standout single made its debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee last month, and fans still cannot get enough of the heartwarming track. The "Diamond in My Pocket" star delivered an unforgettable performance with just a spotlight, and his guitar as he serenaded the crowd dressed in a suit jacket and cowboy hat in true CoJo fashion.

The Texas native is currently on a North American tour with performances scheduled through the middle of December. He is slated to take the stage in Iowa for his next show on Friday (May 17).
