Cage The Elephant 'Leave It All On The Table' With New Song 'Rainbow'

Cage The Elephant are floating like a "Rainbow" after their latest album, Neon Pill, was released on Friday, May 17. To continue the celebration of their highly-anticipated album release, Cage The Elephant are celebrating with an exclusive iHeartRadio Album Release Party tonight, May 20. To highlight tonight's album release party, iHeartRadio is giving fans a sneak peek of the band performing one of the album's tracks, "Rainbow."

The band begins "Rainbow" with the beat of the drums and then brings in a snazzy guitar strumming before lead singer Matthew Shultz begins to captivate the audience with the lyrics, "Let's lay it out, lay it all on the table. Straight from the top, you called my hand, and I felt labeled. Saw the one past whispers that I hated. Trapped inside a mirror, changing shapes to shake those labels."

Cage The Elephant's upbeat tune keeps the crowd's attention as they bring the energy on the stage for the performance of a lifetime. Shultz's energy does not stop throughout the entire song, even as he finishes up the outro of the song with the catchy lyrics, "You lift me up when I get down, right 'round. Got me floating like a rainbow, floating like a rainbow."

Neon Pill is the band's sixth full-length album featuring 12 highly-anticipated tracks. In a statement describing the new album, Shultz said, "To me, Neon Pill is the first record where we were consistently uninfluenced, and I mean that in a positive way."
