Friends alum Courteney Cox believes late co-star Matthew Perry's spirit visits her often. The actress sat down with CBS Sunday Morning on May 19th to discuss the intricacies of her career and to detail the "strong bonds" that remain with her former Friends cast mates, including Perry who passed away at his home in Los Angeles on October 28, 2023 from acute affects of ketamine.

Cox candidly revealed that, though the Chandler Bing actor is no longer with us, she still feels his presence.

"He visits me a lot, if we believe in that. I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that are -- I think they guide us. I sense Matthew's around, for sure."

Perry and Cox worked together on the set of Friends from 1994 to 2004 and played love interests for just over 5 seasons of the iconic series. Cox praised her deceased Friend for being "one of the funniest human beings in the world," despite his open struggle with addiction (per Entertainment Tonight).

"I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. He's just so funny. He has, genuinely, a huge heart. [He] obviously struggled. I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years."

In 2021, just two years before Perry's death, he and former cast mates Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc reunited for Max special, Friends: The Reunion, standing out as the last time the world ever saw Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, and Joey all together.

Perry's funeral services were held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on November 3rd, where Aniston, Schwimmer, Cox, Kudrow, and LeBlanc arrived as a group to pay their respects to their forever friend.
