T.I. thinks Young Thug will beat his RICO charges and come home soon.

The Atlanta native shared his prediction for the outcome of the YSL RICO trial during his interview with The Breakfast Club on Tuesday, May 28. Tip believes Thugger will come home in due time.

“I don’t think that the prosecution has successfully proven the case of him knowingly and willingly participating in an active street gang," he said. "I just don’t see it. I don’t think that the witnesses that they’ve called thus far have proven what they’ve said that they would prove. I just don’t think that the grounds of that case have been presented properly. I just ain’t seen it.”

Young Thug and his co-defendants are currently on day 82 of their trial. They face a slew of charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Since the trial began late last year, there have been plenty of hiccups along way that have dragged out the proceedings. At first, there were over 700 witnesses on the prosecution's list, but they were ordered to reduce it down to 400. According to Atlanta News First, there are still over 150 people who have to testify.

DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God also spoke with Tip about what life will be like for Young Thug after he gets out of jail. Thugger has been locked up since May 2022 and was denied bail four times before the trial started. Despite all the turmoil he's faced during his time behind bars, Tip said he would personally make sure Thug will be taken care of when he comes home.

“Don’t worry, we’re gonna get him right. We’re gonna take care of him,” he said. “He’s gonna be just fine. It’s already in the bag. All he gotta do is touch down.”
