Ye believes he was extorted by his former assistant before she made several shocking allegations against him.
Earlier this week, the Yeezy founder's former executive assistant Lauren Pisciotta filed a sexual harassment lawsuit and accused him of sending her explicit photos, videos and vulgar text messages. She also claimed the artist formerly known as Kanye West refused to pay her $4 million in wages and severance after he fired her in 2022. Ye's legal team responded to the allegations on Tuesday, June 4 called them "baseless." In fact, the "CARNIVAL" artist's attorneys assert he is the real victim here.
"In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected," Ye's legal rep told TMZ.
Ye claimed Pisciotta is the one who tried to manipulate him with sexual coercion in order to obtain lavish items and "unreasonable sums of money." In her lawsuit, Pisciotta said Ye would pay her $1 million a year to serve as his assistant and, later on, chief of staff at Yeezy. According to Rolling Stone, Ye's legal team alleged she demanded a $4 million annual salary as well as luxurious gifts like a Hermes Himalayan Diamond Birkin bag, a Lamborghini, and plastic surgery.
The Vultures rapper also accused Pisciotta of several instances of "lascivious, unhinged conduct.” He claimed she sent him "unsolicited nude images" and offered to have sex with him on his birthday, which he denied. Ye also claimed Pisciotta tried to blackmail him last year for $60 million. He said she made up the new allegations against him in order to attract attention from the media.
Pisciotta sued Ye for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and hostile work environment. She claimed he masturbated during their phone calls and refused to pay the $3 million-dollar severance he promised after he fired her. She has not directly reacted to Ye's response, however, she did post a quote on her Instagram Story that says, "Your soul becomes aligned with freedom when you allow others the liberty to dislike you, judge you and disagree with you.”
