Cardi B has finally had enough of Joe Budden.
During a Spaces conversation she hosted on X Thursday, July 18, the Bronx native called out Budden — who was also in the space — for constantly hating on her and talking about her career over the past two years. Bardi went off on the rapper-turned-podcaster after he discussed the status of her new album and labeled her as a "feature artist" in the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast.
“I don’t give a f**k when people talk s**t about me," Cardi said. "It’s just the fact you always talk sh**t about me, Joe Budden. Out of nowhere!"

"I gave you a lap dance 2 times in Starlets, you was high as f*ck on coke... I ain't f*cking Drake n*gga I ain't gonna write no nice paragraph, imma come at you, imma shine that head of yours..."… pic.twitter.com/qW1Xc8vueD
"You would think I did something to this n***a," she continued. "For the past two years, this n***a has only talked bad things about me. Why?”
“I ain’t f**king Drake, n***a," she added. "I ain’t gonna write no nice paragraph. I’ma come at you. I’ma shine that head of yours.”
The final straw for Cardi happened during Budden's most recent discussion about the status of her long-awaited sophomore album. The podcast host said that the mother of two will never drop the album and will only do features. He hyped up the release of her new collaboration with Rob49 "On Dat Money," but immediately dismissed her as a "singles artist."
“We’ll never get another album again. I’m standing on that," Budden said. "Cardi’s got something dropping with my man Rob[49] on Friday. That’s gonna be crazy, but that’s what Cardi’s gonna be now, just a singles artist.”
“I’m sure Offset wants Cardi to put an album out," he continued. "Aye, fellas out there, boyfriends, y’all know that feeling right? When you want your b***h to get a job. You in the house and your b***h won’t leave... ‘Ain’t you got an album to do? Ain’t you got a single?’”

Cardi B has been teasing the release of her sophomore album for quite some time. She promised to release it this year after she dropped her song "Bongos" with Megan Thee Stallion last fall. Since then, she's dropped other singles and collaborations but hadn't offered a solid update on the status of her album. That changed after her Spaces.
"I wanna say this to Bardi gang or anybody who’s just a fan of my music or even my craziness," she wrote on X. "I have my good days and my bad days but you know what, whether it’s good or bad I couldn’t be happier with the obvious anticipation for my album..Sometimes I get a little aggressive because yall know I don’t like to be told what to do but I promise you it’s coming THIS YEAR. Thank you for the love and anticipation and always holding me down ❤️ I love yall."

After the explosive conversation on X, Budden addressed the accusations Cardi made and declared that he would never cover her again.
"I promise you and can assure you, i will not cover a single thing this girl does for the remainder of her career… Peace & love," he wrote. I have also never gotten a lap dance from this lady. I also have never done coke."
"She cursing me smooth out but she still hilarious lol…. I’m going to bed, i apologize to @iamcardib for whatever i did and peace and love to all," he added.
