Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey was bashed online after he called American gymnasts Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles' act of sportsmanship at the 2024 Paris Olympics "literally disgusting."

Biles, who took silver, and Chiles, who took bronze, bowed to Brazil's Rebeca Andrade -- who bounced back from three ACL tears -- as she joined them on the podium as the gold medal winner of the women's floor exercise final on Monday (August 5), which marked the first time a gymnastics podium was comprised of three Black women in Olympic history. Humphrey re-shared SportsCenter's X post of the podium interaction with, "this is literally disgusting" on Monday (August 5).

Several critics pointed out the display of sportsmanship, as well as Andrade deserving praise for her comeback from injury, in response to Humphrey's post. The former All-Pro cornerback shared another post claiming he was "low-key getting cooked right now" and getting "cussed out" by Brazilians on Instagram.

Andrade's gold medal followed two silver medals in the individual all-around and women's vault and a bronze in the team all-around. Biles, the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, won gold in all three events, which included capping off the United States' team all-around victory with the final floor routine of the competition, bringing her Olympic career total to 11 medals won.
