Latto thinks she's the greatest female rapper right now, but there's another queen she truly recognizes as the true G.O.A.T.

During a conversation Complex published on Tuesday, August 13, the Atlanta rapper and her sister Brooklyn Nikole discussed who they think is the greatest female rapper in the game. At first, they both agreed that Latto is the greatest, but the "Big Mama" rapper eventually dubbed Lil' Kim as the true G.O.A.T.

"I'm my G.O.A.T. and that's all that matters," she explained. "But like *the* G.O.A.T. is Lil' Kim for sure. Fashion icon, timeless music, timeless looks. [She] gonna forever be like a staple not only in rap but female rap."

Lil' Kim's G.O.A.T status is well-deserved. The two artists have met in the past, however, she never publicly praised the Queen Bee until now. So far, Kim hasn't reacted to the compliment. We'll see if she does. Some fans pointed out that Latto named Lil' Kim her G.O.A.T when she came up praising Nicki Minaj. Nicki and Latto were cool until 2022 when they got into a huge spat on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Latto gave Lil' Kim the crown less than a week after she dropped her latest studio album Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The 17-track album holds popular songs like "Georgia Peach" and "Blick Sum." Latto recruited rappers like Young Nudy, Hunxho, and Megan Thee Stallion to hop on the album with her. She also invited other artists like Coco Jones, Ciara, Mariah The Scientist and Teezo Touchdown to join her. The album arrived just days after Drake dropped his new collaboration with Latto, "Housekeeping Knows."
