Chrisean Rock is serious about ridding herself of all her destructive vices and focusing on the more important things in her life.
The reality TV star opened up about her new journey to self-righteousness during a recent interview on The Jamal Bryant Podcast “Let’s Be Clear." Rock, who was released from jail earlier this month, said she has given up her addictions to marijuana and alcohol in order to pursue more a healthy lifestyle. She also claimed she has isolated herself and ditched her attachment to social media.
“I’m in this space where I don’t even be on social media at all, unless it has to do with work,” Rock explained.
"My appetite is different," she continued. "I don’t have an appetite for weed smoking. I don’t have an appetite for drinking. I don’t have an appetite for sex out of marriage. I don’t have an appetite for confusing things.”
Chrisean Rock was set free from Craig County Jail in Vinita, Oklahoma after she spent nearly three months behind bars. She was transferred from California after she served her 30-sentence for assaulting singer James Wright following Tamar Braxton's concert last year. The Oklahoma case began in 2022 after she was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and failure to display a tax stamp on a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on bond earlier this month and still faces up to eight years in prison if she's convicted.
The 24-year-old was arrested in June with her son in her arms. Her first child, whose name was recently changed to Chrisean Jesus Porter, spent a few months without his parents while his mom and father Blueface were locked up. Rock and her son are reportedly set to star in a new reality series that will follow their lives after lock-up. The changed mother penned a tribute to her son after she missed his first birthday.
“To be with you Today set free a couple days from your birthday is a Blessing,” Rock wrote in a touching message to her son Chrisean Jr. on Instagram. “Missing a significant event like a first birthday can bring feelings of sadness or regret, but it’s also an opportunity to reflect on the continuous love and care you provide every day.”
