Six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick is reportedly facing "a crossroads" amid speculation on his coaching future and rumors of marrying his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson.

Belichick, 72, who has since contributed to ESPN and Inside the NFL as a media personality, remains a potential top head coaching candidate since being fired by the New England Patriots after 24 seasons in January, but a source told the Daily Mail that his relationship with Hudson could play a major factor in his decision.

“There is still a drive to coach again and break the wins record, but his life now isn’t that bad as he has been enjoying doing TV and absolutely enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Jordon that is blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage,” the source said. “He wants to be with her all of the time, but she is pushing him to see the options that he will have for next season because she knows that makes him happy.”

In June, sources close to Belichick and Hudson confirmed that the competitive cheerleader and pageant contestant moved into the former New England Patriots coach's Hingham, Massachusetts, home at the beginning of the year and have "hardly spent any time apart since the move-in." Photos and video published by the Daily Mail on June 19 showed Belichick and Hudson, along with an unidentified male carrying several items, walking on a dock toward the former New England Patriots coach's boat in Nantucket.

On June 18, TMZ Sports shared a photo of Belichick and Hudson's first encounter.

Belichick was seen smiling with Hudson in a selfie taken during the reported flight they shared from the Boston area to Florida in February 2021. The former New England Patriots coach also autographed a textbook for Hudson during their initial meeting, as shown in other photos obtained by TMZ Sports.

“Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” Belichick wrote with his signature inside the 'Deductive Logic' textbook, along with the numbers for each of the Super Bowls won by the Patriots during his tenure with the franchise.

Belichick, who was spotted with Hudson in a photo shared on Croatian Chess Grandmaster Alojzije Jankovic earlier this month, has reportedly been linked with her since breaking up with longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday, in September 2023, TMZ Sports reported on June 14. Hudson and Belichick reportedly bonded over a philosophy project she was working on and exchanged contact information after landing, a former cheerleading teammate confirmed to TMZ Sports.

Belichick, who was fired by the New England Patriots after 24 season in January, was spotted at a cheerleading competition, opting to forego the NFL Combine, in National Harbor, Maryland, in March, which he reportedly attended to watch Hudson compete. The 23-year-old also reportedly attended former quarterback Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction alongside the legendary coach this past week and attended several games at Gillette Stadium during Belichick's final two seasons in 2022 and 2023.

In March, the pseudonymous gossip outlet Deuxmoi reported that Belichick was spotted on what was described as "clearly a date" with a much younger brunette woman at Contessa Italiana in Boston. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski also made multiple jokes about Belichick dating younger women both on the red carpet of Brady's Hall of Fame speech and at the quarterback's Netflix roast last month.

Belichick is the third-winningest coach in NFL history and one of seven NFL head coaches to have spent more than 20 years with one franchise following George Halas (40) of the Chicago Bears, Curly Lambeau (29) of the Green Bay Packers, Tom Landry (29) of the Dallas Cowboys, Don Shula (26) of the Miami Dolphins, Steven Owen (24) of the New York Giants and Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, all of whom have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
